    Khmer King in Cambodia now is an elected monarch


    Today, the Cambodia King is the head of state of the Kingdom of Cambodia. The King's power is restricted to that particular of a symbol figurehead to whom people are to offer respect and love. The monarch also signifies peace, stability, and prosperity to the Khmer people. The King of Cambodia is an elected monarch, making Cambodia among the few elected monarchies of the world.
